We place a huge importance on our delivery service. Getting your order to you as fast and as safely as possible has been a key focus of Tile Merchant.
We deliver 90%+ of all orders on our own fleet of Tile Merchant trucks by our directly employed experienced drivers to get your order to your corner of Ireland as seamlessly as possible.
We will deliver your items within 2-4 working days. Once you confirm and pay for your order, you will receive email confirmation and once your order is shipped we will update you with delivery ETA.
We deliver across all 26 counties on the island of Ireland and the 6 Counties in Northern Ireland. Delivery is 7am-8.30pm, we will give you a time window in which we will be making kerbside delivery.
On the day of your delivery we will send a tracking code so you can follow our truck on its way to your home. Any times we provide are provisional as traffic can delay the best laid plans, though 99% of our deliveries are made within the specified window that we provide.
If you live down an idyllic rural boreen, in an urban area with restricted access, on an island or basically anywhere that a truck will have difficulty delivering heavy goods to: please get in touch. We can arrange a different method but don’t hesitate to contact our helpful delivery team. Failed delivery due to insufficient safe access will incur a redelivery fee. This decision is made by our experienced drivers as they have the sole responsibility of delivering our items safely.

What happens when a delivery cannot be made or I am absent when the goods arrive?
If we cannot make a delivery on a pre-arranged day due to unforeseen circumstances there will be an extra charge of €20 per pallet to re-deliver the goods, if the order is subsequently cancelled this will result in a €60 handling charge and a 15% restocking charge.

How long does it take from when I order goods and the order arriving?
Next day delivery is available to certain areas if the order is placed Monday to Friday before midday. All orders outside the times of standard office hours (Mon-Fri, 8.30-5.00) and Bank Holidays will be processed on the next working day.

What happens if goods are damaged when they arrive to me?
All damaged goods will be replaced. We must be informed of any breakages within 5 days from receipt of goods, any later than this and it will be too late to claim. For insurance reasons we may ask you to store the goods. We may also need you to send us photographs of the damaged stock. Once goods have been installed we are unable to replace them, we strongly advise all of our customers to check received goods for faults before installation.
